Cub Scout Pack 45 welcomes K-5th grade boys and girls.
Cub Scout Pack 45 is: Building Character; Learning Citizenship; Developing Personal Fitness; and Developing Leadership.

All boys and girls in K-5 and their parents who are interested in the Cub Scouts are welcome to join the New Canaan Cub Scouts for Hot Dogs, Smores, and Campfire Songs. Siblings are welcome, too.
For more than 50 years, St. Aloysius Church sponsored a Boy Scout Troop, #45. Many New Canaan boys and families grew up with Scouting at St. Aloysius and earned their Eagle here. Prominent families from surrounding towns were also part of the Troop and its history.
In the late 1980’s, due to changing community interests, Troop 45 stood down and merged into the other local Troops. Over the past several years, however, New Canaan as a town has seen a resurgence in Scouting.
In the Fall of 2019, St. Aloysius started a new Cub Scout Pack. In the Spring of 2020, St. Aloysius re-started Troop 45. Both Scouting units are now fully up and running. Bob Mantilia serves as our Chartered Organization Representative (COR) and J.D. Piro serves as our Unit Commissioner.
